The Clerk of the Circuit Court is at 8 Church Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401, phone 410-222-1397, with public hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday except legal holidays. The License Department in Room H101 handles marriage license and copy services at 410-222-1434.
- Court case files: contact the Anne Arundel County Clerk of the Circuit Court or the relevant Circuit Court
- Marriage and divorce records: use the License Department for marriage copies and the Civil and Family Department for divorce files
- Probate, wills, and estates: contact the Register of Wills and Orphans' Court at 2011-E Commerce Park Drive, Annapolis, MD 21401
- Criminal case files: contact the Circuit Court Criminal Department at 410-222-1420 with the case number when available
- Jail roster: use the Department of Detention Facilities inmate locator or call detention main information at 410-222-7374
- Active warrants: contact the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office at 410-222-1570 for warrant and Safe Surrender questions
